Providing cost certainty in mediator fees
In our experience, clients and their advisers appreciate a proactive approach to managing mediator fees, with certainty around the costs involved in the mediation process.
We provide you with an all-inclusive cost that covers private mediator fees, prior reading and travel time. For most locations, we also include the costs of any travel or accommodation required.
The following mediation fee structure covers full-day mediations. We can provide separate fixed pricing for half-day mediations where required. Prices are effective from 1 January 2024 and exclude GST.
When you make a booking, we will confirm the fees in writing so you can have clarity on the costs involved in your mediation.
South East Queensland
- Locations include Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba
- All-inclusive fee covers mediation, reading time, travel time and all travel costs
- Room hire available at no charge for mediations conducted at 400 George Street, Brisbane - all other locations at cost (or to be arranged by lawyers in the relevant location)
Regional Queensland centres
- Fee covers mediation, reading time and travel time
- Airfares and accommodation charged at cost
- Room hire to be arranged by lawyers in the relevant location
Sydney and Melbourne
- All-inclusive fee covers mediation, reading time, travel time and all travel costs
- Room hire to be arranged by lawyers in the relevant location
Other Australian locations

- We will provide you with a fixed, all-inclusive fee quote that covers mediation, reading time, travel time and travel costs
